We booked our cruise about 6 weeks out and saved a TON of money on our Disney Fantasy cruise for 7 nights to the Western Caribbean. We just kept checking Disney's cruise website for about a week and then the GTY rate came up. FINALLY!!! We knew it existed, but finding it, now that's a challenge!!! With the GTY category, we were guaranteed a deluxe family size room with a verandah. This same room books for $10,000 during June, July and August. It drops to around $5,000 in October. Our price? $3,028!!! They chose our room for us, which is the only stipulation at that rate, and we got room #8100. It was fabulous. Midship location and a higher floor made it easily accessible to/from all of the main areas, without having to wait on an elevator!
